My honey and I will be in CC Dec 31st - Jan 14th. We want reasonably nice accomodation. Since its a small island and high season, should we make a reservation?
A reservation is always a good idea anywhere you go. Whether or not it does any good is something else. I recomend brining bug spay with deet (like Off). When the wind dies down and at sunset the bugs realy come out.

I have never been to Caulkers Caye before but it is on my radar screen, however I have travelled extensively and over the past 5 years I have never had reservations and not once was I stranded. Go without one, it is all part of the adventure.
I have spent the last week researching what is available for the holidays. We fly in after Christmas (12/30)and the options are slim. I even had an idea of where everything was and where I would consider staying because we were here for 3 weeks in 2004. I would HIGHLY reccommend trying to find something now. This is their busiest 2 weeks of the year. If it was off season it would be okay.
