We're on our way to Caye Caulker and will stay a few days. Does anybody has some recommendations for snorkeling?
Thanks in advance!

You can snorkel for 1/2 a day or a full day, either by sail boat or by speed boat. Many snorkel shops to choose from.

Thanks and cheers,

I was in CC about one year ago. In fact on
March 9th of 2005 my wife and I went snorkeling with Juni. He is a long time resident and only takes a small group with
him.I can't empasize strongly enough to make
that trip with Juni. Have fun

Juni is a brilliant old soul with a deep love of the sea and her children. an experience with him is superior to all others. I have been out with him several times and I always have the same experience. he's great with sharks and bad with people. this is fine to me, but realize what you are getting in to. he operates alone and has no ability to save a troubled diver. most boats at Hol Chan leave a mate on a power boat to quickly rescue if need be. Juni is also mesmerized by the undersea and he regards this as his special time. if you don't keep up with him, you are on your own. so, go with him to see his good stuff if you are a strong swimmer and can handle the currents. otherwise, I strongly recommend Carlos at the Sandbox. he'll notice if you're having trouble with your mask and he will guard your life as his first priority.

See Big Steve at Seahawk. He leaves from the front dock around 9:30 or 10:00 each morning. He has a black and white sloop with a red and white sail. Steve is a very nice man and will take you on a beautiful snorkeling trip out to the reef. He swims like a fish himself and will help you with your gear and fix you a nice meal fresh from the sea.
