Caye Caulker Police Station Gets Face Lift
The Caye Caulker Police Station- centrally located on the beach- received a long over due sprucing up last Friday afternoon, March 3rd.
A contingent of Police Officers, firemen and community spirited residents chipped in to repaint the Station-house. As is typical on that beautiful, sun-drenched island, the islanders procured and donated materials, tools and expertise including labor to enhance the community. The paint was donated by local entrepreneur Earl Smith, the ladders loaned by hotel-bar mogul Big George Besta and the Fire Department. The individuals that contributed their labor include local businessman Willy-man and Police Officers: Corporal Pott, PC Rash, PC Samos and Fireman Miguel Natus.
By the end of the day La Isla Carinosa Police Station had a handsome fresh coat of yellow paint with green trim.
