I'm looking for a girls catchers mit for a lefty that plays on the all girls softball team I'm coaching (Amigas del Mar). If anyone has a used one they could bring down or a new one they could buy and bring down it would be GREATLY appreciated. She has small hands so a kids mit would probably be best (decent quality). Just let me know when and where you'll be and I'll bring cash.

Simon-Is this fast-pitch ?--Although I don't have the mitt your looking for--My daughter is an All-State centerfielder and I already spoke with area coaches--everyone was more than happy to help but no lefty catcher in our area for 10 years or so--I would go buy one and ship it down or to someone leaving soon.I pray you find your mitt--- and your compassion to help those less fortunate than yourself warms our hearts on a cold wintery day in Illinois.Jesus said " What you do to my least,you also do to me"--We won't be down until Feb. 8 and will set up a tent( we have all the nessasary paperwork ) to talk about Jesus to the locals that week,I have been very reluctant to announce this on the board for obviuos reasons,but may soon anyway---Thanks- David & Jo Nisbet ( We have met at Caliente ( sp )--we were with Miss Harriette about a year ago

Simon - how long does the softball season run?

Just so no one has the wrong idea, this is an organized league consisting of people 16 and up. Just so happens that we have the only team consisting of only female players. The other teams are required to have at least 3 women playing.

I'm not sure how long the season will last but it's become hugely popular and there are now 10 full teams (each team is allowed a roster of 22.)

Our next game doesn't take place until January 7th. We only had 2 practices before our game and had our butts whipped, but all had fun.
