wasup caye folks,
i'll be back soon,hopefully sooner then i feel like it will be.
Im looking into traveling from belize to costa rica at the end of my stay,
bye way of boat,plane,bus,taxi an' horseback, any thing really.
last year I flew down, but it was very expensive an i'd rather stay on the ground or take smaller bush planes.
i really dont know what im doing yet so all advice is helpfull.
ive heard you can catch a ferry from placencia into honduras, is that true? details?
if not is it better to cut deeper into guatamala and then head over? if anyone know anything it would help.
any ideas on from honduras through nicaragua to costa?
i've travel'd through several centeral american countrys but the route of honduras,nicaraga,costa rica is new to me.

I believe the boat leaves from Dangriga and goes to Puerto Cortez.

This summer my son was visiting and we brought his girlfreind in from Costa Rica, after hours of researching the cheapest way to get her here, because most the buses dont run at night which meant 3 nites of hotels all the meals etc it was about the same price for her to fly, and as a young lady traveling alone it was safer, We flew her to Belize City for $170 US She could have flown to Flores Guat. for $100 the taken the 5 hour bus trip to Belize City. Downside is if you have the time traveling by land can be fun, you sure get to see more.
