Looks like maybe, just maybe, we may actually make it to Belize in the near future. I had always planned to stay at Mata Rocks, however, not so sure now.

Recently read a good review on TA about Caribbean Villas. But Couldn't find anything about this place, in the archives of this forum. Anyone with an opinion?

Just me and my husband, don't need extra fancy and prefer not more than $150 pn. Don't particularly need a restaurant on site, would prefer a bar nearby. Definately want easy access to water and town.

Caribbean villas has an AMAZING ground. its right on the beach, and the landscaping is beautiful. it is just next to xanadu, banyan bay, and not at all far from town. banyan bay has a fantastic bar and good restaurant. i've no doubt you'll be happy at caribbean villas.

Great place. Stayed there last March and will be staying there again in two weeks. You'll love it.

I'm staying there during my February visit, 1st time. Good to read good reviews.

I'm glad to hear this too. We will be making our first trip to Beliz next Saturday. We will also be staying at Caribbean Villas. Hope to get some good weather and rest.

Caribbean Villas...do u mean Royal Caribbean Villas? Or is there a resort that is called just Caribbean Villas?

Yes, different resort, Caribbean Villa's is just a bit north of Banyan Bay. You really can't see it from the road. It is a lovely spot.
