We leave very early Friday, YESSSSSSS!!! Can't wait.. OK, can anyone tell me is it ok for my 13 year old son to fish from the piers? He wan'ts to bring his fishing rod. Is fishing from the piers allowed, and do they catch anything at all from them? Thanks. Karin.

I cant answer about fishing off the docks but Iam sure some one can and will. I am here just to warn you not to let your child do any fishing at the WASA`s pump station. It is located by The Victoria House. Itlooks inviting, especially to a 13 yo. There is a 10 foot croc in there that ate a dog the week we were there. They have been spotted in the lagoons too. Iam sure your son will be told of great places to fish. Have a great time, it is a wonderland.

Best fisherman on AC is Tulu Villaneuva...well respected, wonderful with children...he works independently off the the Coral Beach dock......he is the man.

Hey. Just got back from AC a few days ago. Went with my two boys, 12 and 15. They didn't fish off the dock per se, but we did see some fish. The boys went fishing with their Dad on a boat. Just for the morning, very inexpensive. I recommend the flats. If you go out reef fishing the surf is rough. The 15 year old got a little sea sick after a few hours. But boy did they catch fish!!!! We took the catch to Ambergris Delight Restaurant and they cooked it for us four different ways. DELICIOUS!! The boys got a kick out of it. It was only $15 Belizean dollars for the service. They also have great pizza!! Know your son will like that. Ours did.
