My son is going to Belize soon, and I know he will find smoke. How are the laws enforced in Belize as far as personal use is concerened?

Depends on how much you have on your person.. and I have no idea what amount is too much. I don't do it!!!

Send him over to Pedro's Inn by the airport, I hear that place is "Smokin" this week. lots of people are going to get real "High" during this week and then go to Pedro's. (Inside joke SAMM,) But do Tell him he is not wanted in Belize. That kind of stuff will not be tolerated by the police in San Pedro.

He will get asked for sure but probaly get ripped off or set up, heard lots of nad stories

He may also get deported. It just isn't worth it.

Hey, I actually am agreeing with Spl on this one. I know one local and two tourists who went to jail for just one night for possesion all at different times. The fine was around what Pedro said for the tourists. $300 US for the Citizen. I don't know anyone who got deported!
