Okay....don't everybody jump up at once! wink I got here late Friday and knew I was going to love it as soon as I got off the dock. I am really enjoying it here. So far did Hol Chan, shark/ray alley and the big EASY RIDER ON GOLF CART adventure wherein I gave a Mayan woman and her three kids a ride to Journey's End. Been to Fido's and Jaguar, Elvi's, Celi's and Caramba's. I've been at Coconet (where I am RIGHT NOW!!!! Hurry up if you want to meet me! I'm on the second to last pc. Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!) posting a trip report to my pals back home. I'll post the report when I'm home and done with all the fun. This week's plans include Altun Ha, Lamanai, more snorkeling, and a beach bbq on a catamaran. I'd sit still more if I had a companion but moving around is the best way to meet people when you're flying solo. Really glad I came.

Hey Sirena:

I'm stuck here in freezing cold New England, but you can probably catch some boarders over at BC's right now.

Thanks Rykat! Belize it or not....they've got a COLD FRONT HERE TOO! It's been about 58 at night and the natives are chilly. Me? I just got out of Jersey myself so I'm fine with it but I WILL rent a wet suit for my next snorkel. Can't say I wasn't warned....Axeman suggested it but I went in my first day here and was in too much of a hurry. Not cold but the temperature I prefer is "bathtub". Met a guy who works with the weather and he says another cold front is right in back of this one so I guess I'll have to wait for my NEXT visit to feel the heat!

Thanks to you too, RI Beth. I was gonna breeze into BCs tonight. I love the fact that an "old" gal like me can walk into a bar and not feel like everyone is wondering if I'm the camp counselor come to check up on everyone. All ages. All sorts. I feel pretty comfortable here. If this doesn't become an every year visit it will DEFINITELY a frequent one.
