Its Monday morning here on Caye Caulker and KREM Radio has just announced that the Communications Workers's Union have given BTL until noon to reinstate the workers that were fired. They are not saying what will happen after noon, but I expect a strike is on its way.

No, hold on a minute, thats not whats happening. Unions were dissatified with the letter from the Minister to BTL to reinstate the workers, but we know govt does not have the power to force btl to take these actions because Ashcroft is more powerful than they are. So, unions workers call in sick today and are asking people to wear yellow in solidarity. A strike in the next few days? No. Will it come to that? Depends on Ashcrofts agenda.
