I have been living in Costa Rica for 10 years now, but it's time to renew my Belizean Passport. Originally from Tampa, it's been 6 years since I have visited Belize. Could anyone please advise where and how to renew a belizean passport? Belmopan or B-City, how does it work, how long, etc. The Govt? site has a New passport application on it but no indications regarding renewal procedures. I plan on visiting in May for a week or so. Thanks so much, for any help you could give.

I would first contact the nearest Belize mission/embassy in Costa Rica or find the Honorary Consul to Belize for Costa Rica (perhaps in the capital).

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately the honorary counsel for
Belize in Costa Rica closed 6 years ago due to monetary constraints. Could you recommend an attorney in Belize City to
use to facilitate the renewal and mailing of the passport back to me, as the BZ govt site says it takes about 3 weeks and I will only be there for one.
