We spent alot of time, talking with the locals, giving them rides on the golf cart to their school and places of work. They are so informed, bright, and knowledgable about the Caye and the States. They are so proud and comfortable, and well educated, the young and old, on the streets and beach.
They are not beggars by no means, some have wares for sale, but they do not have their hand out begging. Beautiful people.

Bill I checked the Cybercoffee everyday to find you, and of course it was not raining therefore you must have been on the beach, or eating lobster. Unfortunately I am back in Brownsville Texas now, but will be back in about 3 months. Truly I did look for you. I will keep your number and call.

Oh Chloe!!! I agree with you on this one. The people we met there are fabulous. We had so much fun with the local people. Dancing, fishing, talking. They ARE gracious, friendly and knowledgable. We made several friends who we now email regularly, and have also been mailing items to them they can't get down there. I have no doubt they will return the favor when we run out of Belizian habanero pepper sauce and Mango Tango!! (I enjoyed sharing recipes with the locals and trying them out in my kitchen. The fresh fish and unusual fruits were fun to experiment with. Came home with some GREAT recipes!) Oh.... I to am from Texas.

For all we know, we could have been using next door computers while you were at Cyber-Cafe.Sounds like ya had a nice time. I'm getting my paint from the mainland tomorrow morning, and should be starting on the painting Monday. I've been spending alot of time at my place. Garcia is doing the work, I'm doing the fetching. My place is coming along well. Once we got electric and telephone, its just been hard work for Garcia and alot of fretting for me. Take Care; Bill PS.I should be returning to St Louis in August.
