I was a dummy and ordered the wrong type of memory for some of my desktop computers. Before I attempt to return them for credit, I thought I'd see if anyone in the Cayes was interested. Here are the specs:

I have two sets of the following for a total of 2GB of RAM:

CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

More specs and reviews:

I paid $80US including shipping for each. I will sell them for what I paid. They are brand new and unopened. Check the specs on your machine and PM me if you are interested...

For the right memory every time go to and you will not have this problem again.

Unfortunatly I don't think even they could have saved me... I read a 2 as an 8 in a Dell model number (2400 vs 8400 - ugh). I've been shopping with for years and I have never had an issue unless it was my own eyes failing me frown
