Hey SIN -- it's illegal in the U.S., but there are bigger fish to fry. Bought some from a distributor is the Czech Republic and had it delivered. Can't say I was too impressed. I agree with ida -- it's strong all right.

I will have a Belikin -- put it on klcman's tab.

What about a faux-absinthe liquor called Absente, made with southern wormwood (Artemisia abrotanum) instead of regular wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), is sold legally in the United States and does not contain thujone.

Not the same I presume?

I did a few nights of absinthe in Japan years back. It was just like my buddies said, "you don't just SEE the pink elephants, you can even TOUCH them." We would typically light the shot glass also, and then chug it.

"Absinthe makes you crazy and criminal, provokes epilepsy and tuberculosis, and has killed thousands of French people. It makes a ferocious beast of man, a martyr of woman, and a degenerate of the infant, it disorganises and ruins the family and menaces the future of the country."

Kinda like liberalism, in other words. Sorry, couldn't help that.

I didn't know if he was refering to absinthe or the nazis. smile

Center is relative, Carla. I was joking. Actually, I was just pinching the kid in front of me to see how high he would jump.
