I am travelling by myself to Ambergris Caye 10/02-10/12. Are there any hotels that have single rates, as opposed to single supplements or just paying for an unused double. Also is there a way to hook up with a dive buddy since I don't have one?

From past diving experiences while there, you can always find another person looking for a "dive buddy." May I suggest that you contact the hotel directly to inquire about rates. I have included a link for you.

You might also want to try posting on www.scubadiving.com to find a dive buddy who might be going the same time you are.
