Which has better beach Casitas? Pool? Beach?
Price? Please give me a general opinion of which is better and why? Trying to decide between the two, and have never been to A.C.
My wife and I want a romantic "honeymoon like" vacation to remember.
Thanks!!!

Captain Morgan's is further out an more secluded, if that is what you want. Personally Iwould choose Ramon's Village, because then you can enjoy the town of San Pedro, and all the good restaurants w/o taking a water taxi or ferry. I have walked though both resorts, and still find Ramon's top on my list.

If you are looking for a secluded romantic spot you can't beat Captain Morgan's Retreat. We are located 3.5 miles north of San Pedro. We have a pool, a new restaurant with gourmet meals, a bar, and a full time activity director who can arrange any day trips or tours that interest you. We have only 16 thatched roof casitas and 4 luxurious villas so you will receive individual attention from our staff. Hammocks and chairs dot our 800 feet of white sand beach so you can rest and relax in privacy. You can easily get to San Pedro by the Island Ferry which charges $5 per person 1-way, but with all we have to offer you may find that you don't want to leave.
