Gosh, the possibilities are endless. I'm assuming that since this is your honeymoom you would like romantic? How about a night snorkel on the reef? I hear they are available but am not sure which tour operators do them. On a night with a full moon, I can't think of anything more heavenly. Do you like to sail? We went sailing and it was just wonderful. Exploring any of the Mayan ruins is exciting, and there are TONS of day trips to the mainland. Not only for ruins but also other interesting points of interest. Belize City has a fantastic zoo. There are numerous wildlife preserves and river tours. If you can fit it in, staying at a Jungle lodge in the hills is intoxicating. My husband and I had a cabana on the side of a hill right on the Macal River. It was the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Lush vegetation, flowers like I've never seen, tucans and parrots........The lodge has kersone lamps in the rooms for at night, and large hammock on the front porch overhang, looking out into the jungle. The night sounds and the lamp light were just to romantic for words......Need I say more???

Not sure where you will want to stay on ac...lots of places. But a romantic dinner would be at the Capricorn. it is up island and has very good gourmet food. If you can get an evening boat up, the stars are great for setting the mood. Water taxis will take you there and back or if the Rum Punch is available, a sail on that is great contact the owners Annabel & Clarence by email befor you go at [email protected]. They have a website also. Congratulations and have a great time!

Well if I was going to do the honeymoon thing (again) I would go to Caribbean Villas or Banyan Bay. CV is probably a little less money, but the location and grounds are terrific. We've been to Ac every January for the past seven years, and you should have a very good time. Just don't stay too far from town, i.e. Victoria House...Journeys End. Thats my opinion for waht little is worth....
Have Fun!

Stephi, should one dress alittle better, going to Capricorn, since it such a special dinner?

"Dressing a little better?" I suspose one could wash their sandals for the evening. Maybe a clean shirt, but let's not ever get too carried away with the resort dress thing. This is, after all, San Pedro and the relaxed shuffling around is what makes it so special.

Agree Choochoo, but for Capricorn, I thought maybe, one would want to move up a notch in their appearance, since it is a pricey dinner. LOL Just asking?

OK Chloe,
I DID wear a clean (reasonably) shirt, and my "Lucky Sailing Shoes" rather than the sandals.
It is a little upscale and one would probably want to fit in. We fit in best at the Palapa, in spite of Keith's stringent dress code.

I also recommend Rendevouz, the Thai-French place right down the beach from Capricorn.
