We will be there next week for 10 days. Is there a good liquor store on AC? Looking for Tequila and Vodka. Or would it be better to bring it with us? Also anyone know if we can find Clamato juice at the stores? Need for killer Bloody Marys. Thanks again and look forward to a great trip.

Most of your Mom and Pop stores have liquor but the brands are limited. There is a liquor store across from the Island Perk that I am told has a bigger selection. I am not sure on prices for liquor but most everything is comparible to what the cost is in the states.

I need another vacation.

Hi,
There are plenty of good liquer stores on the island. Tequial and Vodka are at a higher price because they are not local and there is more duty. Vodka being worse than tequilla. So if you can bring from duty free in airport. Clamato juice is a little harder to find, currently island super market has some, but there is always tomato juice for bloody marys. I also love ceasers (bloody mary made with clam) but find they are too heavy down here, rum punch and panty rippers are now a new fav drink.Rum is the best priced drinks here I do suggest trying the rum, personal fav. is One Barrel.
Hope you enjoy your visit

Tequila is one of my favorite adult beverages of choice. I always bring my own bottle down.

Simon,

Those prices are much higher than in CA (by about $10 to $12)!

It's high enough for me to forgo alcohol altogether.

What's the average price of say a margarita in the average beach bar?

What about rum prices? Any made in Belize?

Ken
