Come and celebrate Commonwealth Day holiday weekend in Punta Gorda at the annual Toledo Cacao Festival.

Our weekend celebration of chocolate begins on Friday 18th May with the Festival Opening by the Governor General, HE Sir Colville Young, at the "Wine and Chocolate" evening. Held on the roof-top terrace at PG Sports Bar, you can sample a range of fine Premium Wines, exciting Traveller's cocktails, and scrumptious chocolate-themed hors d'oeuvres, along with music from the Pallotti Chamber Group. Tickets are just BZ$35 per person, available at the door.

Saturday 19th May brings you the "Taste of Toledo" cookery and craft fair in PG's Central Park, along with free "Cacao for Kids" children's activities and competitions, and "Sea Toledo" marine trips and boat rides, from just BZ$5 per person. The celebrations continue into the evening with "Culture in Harmony" musical performances at some of PG's favourite restaurants and bars.

Venture inland to Toledo's chocolate country on Sunday 20th May on the "Cacao Trail" tours to the cacao plantations and one of Toledo's beautiful natural attractions (BZ$60 per person), before returning to PG for the Festival Finale, with free music from PG legends Paul Nabor and "Lee-Laa" Vernon, a spectacular firework display over the Bay of Honduras, and our grand raffle. Your BZ$1 ticket gives you the chance to win many great prizes, including a mini-vacation in San Pedro with return flights on Tropic Air, a Placencia sunset cruise, a weekend break at Machaca Hill Lodge, and a Kyocera Camera phone!
