Thousands of Belizeans will be in Belmopan today for the House/UHS ordeal. I'm assuming it will be a peaceful, but angry crowd, with a few outbreaks created by the inevitible idiots in any group. I'd cancel any non essential visit. I'm expecting govt workers to leave their desks and stand outside with the crowd--for the country. We have very serious issues before us, but have a democratic framework (that needs retooling) to navigate in. We are at a fascinating juncture, with a country to run with a PM who tells us the world is flat.
