Patience is correct...it took us nearly four years to close an escrow on land on AC. But then during the escrow period it appreciated X4 of our purchase price! I am a So. Cal Broker & that is a good deal, no matter how I look at it!

We used Southwind 5 years ago to buy our land and they were really helpful and thorough. Some of the same people are still with them so it is not fly by night or anything. Pay them a visit. We have lot #20 at Buena Vista Point. Not too far from town but far enough. Of course, once you get past the cut it all is quieter and more private. We love it.

Is Buena Vista Point the one where there is an existing dock at present? If it is a charter boat captain named Frank has contacted me about buying lot #30. It would be a private sale and I would still need someone to represent me because I am not going to buy a lot being completely ignorant of Belize law. Thank you for any help to one and all.

Well, there is a dock right down from our lot already but I don't think BVP goes to #30 as far as lots go. I think there is only one or maybe 2 more after ours. Not sure where you ae thinking of. I would say it is a good idea to find out just where it is before going any further. How far past the river was this lot you looked at? BVP is only about 1 1/2 miles down.It is before Captain Morgan's and Journey's End. Wish you well.
