I'm getting used to the new format but there are a few things I can't seem to figure out - Like where to look up a poster.
I need the link for the site Sun & Sand listed where they had the caged dogs. I'm trying to get some collars donated and would like to reference this.
Thanks

Hey Scubaldy. The main site is http://wildliferesources.org/TurkCaico.html
Thank you for joining in the efforts, but, I knew you would. I hope everyone who visits the island and has the resources, will bring with them as many collars as they can carry.
I would love to have you join me for lunch when we get there. Won't be until October, but can I call you? I will wave, as usual, from the veranda when I see you go by.

Also interested in this. I brought a few "gently used" collars this time, but I think I could get a bunch of new and used from friends at the dog park for the next trip. These folks are always ready to help out dogs (and kitties) in need. Also brought a couple of used beach towels--used them a bit during the week, then donated as we were getting ready to leave.

Thanks S&S
Of course you can call me and don't wait for me to ride by. I'll have you up to my new place. I'm going to get on the phone tomorrow about collars.

Wonderful, kris48. If everyone who came to the island (or even everyone who reads this forum and comes to the island) would bring a towel, a collar or two, and a little box of milk bones or treats, Dr. Heather and SAGA would have a little bit less to worry about. Think of all of the pups who live in the Fort Dog area that would love to have a chewy or cookie every now and then. A length of rope, that we could cut and knot, and give them to chew on would be nice, flea collars from the Dollar store, old tennis balls, the list is endless, and nothing is very expensive.
Thanks to everyone who helps out.
And, Scubaldy, I'm looking forward to seeing you.
