Since you are in the Great State of TEXSAS. We have a question. My other half has a step daughter that does the news in Brownsville. She has not bothered to keep in contact for about a year now. Her name is Monica Bennett, have you seen her on the news? I believe she did the weather when she started. She "thinks" she will be the next "Barbara Walters" She married into money a few months ago, so she started burning her bridges a year ago. Very sad for her mother. Maybe she "will" be another Barbara Walters!

she fills in on the news and weather on the week ends. I had to ask my husband, he remembers all the news people, better than I.

I'm up the coast a bit from Chloe. I'm exactly halfway between Galveston and Corpus Christi. I wouldn't have an opportunity to see her on the news. We get Houston news. I am planning to meet Chloe over the Labor Day weekend, so maybe I'll get a glimpse of her. (My husband has a wildlife preserve on South Padre Island.) Where are you again?????

Debbie you bet we will do Labor Day on South Padre Island Texas, the place, that will remind us of Ambergris, at the Surf Motel, which a quaint little place, much like the small places in San Pedro. We will have sun sand surf, and long neck beers, Texas style.
But with all that we would rather be in Belize.

Marvel, My husband woke me up at 6:30 am to see Monica (Bennett) Vaughn on channel 5 news. She is a pretty blonde and was wearing a red dress. She does a nice job.

I was just going to tell you her new name. Our eldest (who is one some gurgu plane now) said her name was Van but we know better. She married Scott Vaughin. I believe his family has stores? sell farm equipment? or something like that. As I said, she does not keep in touch, anymore.
Kids (their in their thirtys) today are not like we were with our parents. Guess no matter how you try some just leave and forget. Just move on I guess.

So funny. I drove through Bellaire yesterday!!! We have friends in the area. Met them for lunch them took our boys to Enron Field to see the Astros play. (They lost.....again......) But it was fun.!!
