After almost a year's absence, I'll be going down (possibly with my parents in tow) to A.C. in Jan-Feb. I want to take my parents off-island one day, but preferably for a day trip.
I know my dad would love to see the mennonite villages and the village of Sarteneja. I've done it a few times, but always driving straight from Corozal.
Now for the question: Has anybody ever taken a day trip by plane from A.C. to Sarteneja? It'd sure be a lot easier, but I don't see but one a.m. and one p.m. flight for the whole day. At the airstrip, are there any taxis? I was thinking if there were, perhaps I could fly over in the a.m., ride up to Little Belize, Cerros, etc., then come back in time for the p.m. flight. Thanks in advance for the help!
