Today being the 30th anniversary of Elvis' death I figure we should ask what you were doing when you found out that the King died today!

But why eat my vegetables I already know that I am short!

I was probably playing with my barbie doll or holly hobbie and had no idea who the king was. I was only 6. wink My mother was/is a huge fan.

I was signing up for my senior year in high school.. was a bit of a shock, but not to surprising. My parents had drug me to one of his concerts in Lake Charles, La. earlier in the year. It was funny watching my mom act like a teenager.....

I was just about to turn 24, living in Lawrence, Kansas and about to begin my first year teaching sixth grade. Also, moonlighting as a bartender.
