Marty, just to clarify, Eiden asked the questions about the flags and Mr. Janmohammed responded that the National Hurricane Center (in the U.S.) has it wrong, Belize is under a hurricane WARNING, not a hurricane WATCH. A hurricane watch according to Belize's system of measurement is a Phase 2 and we are still in Phase 1. They will evaluate the Phase 2 situation at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.

The second thing I heard clearly, it is still a voluntary evacuation scheduled for tomorrow, not a mandatory one.

Thanks and cheers,
Wendy

often storms are forced to go west by the topography of Jamaica. sometimes once they round the NW corner of Jamaica they turn a lil more north again... that generally has happened this time, the track was more northerly a couple days ago and was expected to go thru the middle of jamaica. but it went around to the south of jamaica, as it amazingly often does, and the track has wested a bit. hopefully once it clears jamaica it will go north a bit more

No booze will be sold tomorrow so get your booze today ;-) That's what I heard (well, at least the first part).

Cheers,
Wendy
