I was just outside again for the last time tonight. Waves are starting to get bigger and more consistent. We almost have Wilma water already.

Just talked with SP @ 8:05. Weather there not bad right now, calm with little drizzle. Their on-island information has it coming onshore at around 18.2 N, with them getting winds in 75-80 mph range and about 5-7 foot surge, and weather to start really deteriorating 1-2 am.

I just saw Jim Mohammed on Channel 5's news, and he was saying they (NEMO) expect greater wave action/storm surges than what they had with Mitch, and they are expecting signifficant loss of piers and beaches ...

Please, please everyone be careful and stay safe. We are really worried about you all. We will not sleep well tonight thinking about this.
