Not hurricane related, but relaxing tonight after too much "Dean media ingestion" and lack of sleep, reading the current issue of Islands Magazine. Check out p. 28:
Feel the Burn
Organic farming has made its steady, green creep over to Ambergris Caye, Belize, where owners of the sexy, cool Azul Resort, on the remote north end of the island have pulled on the ole overalls and started a farm of their own, from which they produce eclectic hot sauces under the label San Pedro Pepper Works. Try flavors like Key Lime Habenero and Mango Habenero at their restaurant, the Rojo Lounge. Take a water taxi from San Pedro to get there. Bottles to bring home are $8. www.azulbelize.com.
Lots of you probably know about this - I only ate there on one "living the dream" night with the Captain, but rates in the top few meals of my life. Can't wait to get some sauces. A special treat, enjoy!
