I just read on the hurricane forum some 4500 people have been evacuated from he islands. Is AC one of the islands being evacuated?

There was a voluntary evacuation issued but that has just been cancelled. So far it looks like a beautiful day in San Pedro...let's hope it stays that way.

Sorry about the people in the south. Never wish bad on anyone, but I am glad it is missing AC. My first trip to Belize, and after some island hopping, we are ging to stay for a week on AC.

The 4500 evacuated was AC. Starting to get a little cloudy, so we'll get some rain from the outer bands is all, don't know about surge or high waves yet. Beautiful, calm seas, quiet!! No boats, no people walking around and most are boarded up. I have to admit, I was a little worried that a Cat. 5 was heading dead on to Belize, and am very relieved! But, poor people south of us!!!
