God no. We are not in hurricane alley. This is very rare and historic. If it was like this every year, who would stay?

We definitely don't get hurricanes like Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Florida, Mississippi, Texas, or the Carolinas. We were due and then had some back to back but unless we're heading into a global cycle there's still no reason to think we will become a hurricane alley. It's difficult for the hurricanes to get around Honduras and most that do get sucked north. Belize is still like the place they used to sail to escape them historically.

Ditto. I suggest you visit NOAA, check the historical activity and get back with some substantiated data.

Here's a hypothetical, historically speaking, how have some of the major hurricanes that have blown through Belize affected waterfront property in Caulker? Does the beach shift? Get larger, smaller? What is the effect on the mangroves?

I know this might be a vague question that differs with each individual hurricane, but as a relatively new landowner north of the split in Caulker it is something I am very curious about.
