Hello all,

At the risk of sounding like a drunkard. Does anyone know of a place where I can purchase wine and champagne at a reasonable price? My understanding is that wine and champagne can be pretty costly, and although I personally would cozy up with a ice cold beer any day of the week, I am getting married and would like to have wine and Champagne available for guests.

Congratulations! smile
Premium Wines on Front Street has the best prices I've seen on the island.

As an alternative, Simon of Lagniappe Provisioning, has an order form available and will deliver. His prices are comprable considering the delivery and it might be worth it as you'll probably be busy with other stuff!

I can never remember which is better . . . safe? . . . or sorry?

Wine will probably run around $15 - $20 US per bottle. Yes, that is high but the choices are all quite yummy.

I don't know about champagne prices.

Beer is around $25 or 30 US per case (24)

Very popular choice with big gathering is rum punches made with local rums and mixed with cordial (squash.) or fresh fruit juices.
