We typically read LOTS while on vacation. Is there a used book store we can "donate" our books to, or what do you locals suggest?

Take them to the San Pedro Public Library! They gladly accept donations - if you have room, take a couple of children's books with you to donate as well.

AND - Yes, there is a book store here that sells used as well as new books; Barefoot Books towards the south end of Middle Street -
by Mickey's.

AND Kim Gonzalez' hair salon (?? Aguarious) across from Milo's Money Center on middle street. She sells second hand books and magazines.

Many people are avid readers here and cycle books around to each other

I ate a great breakfast at Beach'n Kitchen today and came away with five paperbacks. These I recycle - My hardbacks I like to hang on to.
