We typically read LOTS while on vacation. Is there a used book store we can "donate" our books to, or what do you locals suggest?

Take them to the San Pedro Public Library! They gladly accept donations - if you have room, take a couple of children's books with you to donate as well. smile

Many people are avid readers here and cycle books around to each other

I ate a great breakfast at Beach'n Kitchen today and came away with five paperbacks. These I recycle - My hardbacks I like to hang on to.

Still think the Library is the very best way to recycle your books - that way everyone has a shot at them. And they'll let you check out books while you're there too!!
