katyana OP K	Can one walk between Portofino, Rojo, and Matachica? Is it safe/sane for a solo female to walk between these places in the evening for dinner? After dark? How about long walks along the beach in the day time? Last edited by katyana; 10/13/07 12:57 AM.

elbert	Good for you. I walk the beach up there all the time .All good places to eat.Its safe and beautiful. I walk from Portifino to Rojo ( my favorite restaurant ) all the time it takes about 15 min. No such thing as private beaches in Belize. White Sands Dive Shop https://whitesandsdiveshop.com/

Hon	...but it is really, really dark so be sure to take a flashlight as per Elbert's suggestion. Newfoundlanders are the only people in heaven who want to go home.
