The summer weather has brought some great wildlife. We have seen the following birds from our living room window in the last few weeks. Flock of parakeets, toucan, parrot, roseate spoonbills, woodpeckers. Bloody amazing. Today we saw the parrot, a first for us here. We've seen them on the mainland, but never here. I honestly can't see why anyone would want to live in this horrible place.

I've been trying to get my birds to dance like that with no luck. Although I haven't resorted to playing the Backstreet Boys yet!

Yesterday I saw the Yucatan Parrots for my first time. Awesome! I also have 3 or 4 birds eating my birdseed that I cannot name. I've been through all my bird books but there doesn't seem to be anything even close in appearance in those books. I'm stumped. I hate being stumped!

That was amazing. He was so cool. Never missed a beat! LOL!

LOL! No backstreet boys here, no worries! You may here someone whistling Jingle Bells or Don't Worry Be Happy, those will be my birdies.
