Hello any advice would be much appreciated,my family have the chance to come and live on amber gris with some wonderful close friends ,although for my husband and i it would be a dream ,my husband will be employed by our+ friends and i am a hair stylist former salon owner we worry that amber gris would be right for our lovely children ,our 12 yr old son is one of englands registered gifted and talented excelling in rugby ,math and drama and our little girl 10 is very talented in performing arts (she has just won the worlds street dance comp )and is to appear on britains got talent,are other two equally fab kids are 7 yrs and18 yrs.we do not want to live in britain with the high crime , drinking culture and as business people ,crippling taxes but worry thateven though ambergris looks like paradise we may take away opportunities by taking them to a small island

On the Parental Evaluation Scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the perfect parent and a ranking of 1 meening they should probably have been nuetered before having children, you would rank a 1 and a half for even asking that question. Children aside, going to Belize to get away from drinking, crime and taxes would be like moving to Las Vegas to get away from gambling.

A little harsh I think. Belize is a great place to live for adults and kids. However, if you truly want to nurture your childrens' talents, stay in Britain.
