I am so jealous! I was hoping to be able to make a trip back down over the Holidays, but instead will be stuck stateside recovering from knee surgery. I’ll have friends there, but they stay up north.

You will have a wonderful time there. I’ll be here awaiting your reports on how you are enjoying the island, and how it compares to some of your other visits.

The Sullivans from Tucson will be there from 12/27th thru 1/12.We have not been there over the Holidays but really looking forward to New Years on Ambergris Caye.Does anyone have any Favorite Spots to celebrate the New Year??

We celebrated New Years at BCs last year and had a blast.

We'll be there from Dec 28-Jan 8. Planning to go inland for the first few days, and then out to Ambergris Caye. We're looking for suggestions too for where to spend New Year's Eve...we can be flexible, inland or out on the water. Any ideas?

My wife and I will be there from 12/26 to 01/03. We there last year over New Years as well. We walked up and down the beach hitting several of the bars. It was kind of funny because it didn't seem like any of the bars had their clocks synchronized as we made the New Years count down at, at least three different places. I really liked walking up and down Front Street, many of the locals were dressed to kill and having a great time. There was also a gentleman dressed up in a bull type of costume and chasing kids; I wish I knew the story/tradition behind that. Can anyone enlighten me?

My daughter and I will be there December 20th - 27th. It's her first trip - I was there in 2000 and am excited to come back! We are staying at the Sunbreeze and diving with Aqua Divers. I expect we'll be easy to find at BC's most afternoons!

I was very happy to find this board again after all this time - so much usefull information!
