Hello all!
just wanted to make sure all you islanders and tourists alike are aware that Sweet Basil's, just 1/2 mile north of the cut & a hop and a skip from Reef Village Resort, has been re-done, cleaned up and open for business again.
Tyler & Jules, along with their smoochy canine mascot Jaxx, recently relocated from central California to join family in San Pedro, and are ready to welcome with you with a wonderful menu, exotic tropical drinks and a great wine bar. You'll find them to be a wonderfully entertaining pair- Tyler with his natural good looks and funny jokes and Jules with her effervescent personality, and down-home beauty both inside and out. You've probably seen a lot of this couple around town in recent weeks, You will not meet more hospitable hosts than these two. They love people, love to eat, love to entertain, and love each other!
***We're all hoping for an island wedding sometime in the coming year.

Travelingal, let me help you with another bump! Wanted to try Sweet Basil on my first trip about 3 years ago, it closed down just before we got there. Been open off and on since then, but never w/ very good reviews. Sounds like this time might be a go - I'm gonna check it out next week. Thanks for the info! p.s. - for a good idea of a poster's perspective on things in general, take a look at their past posts 
I can never remember which is better . . . safe? . . . or sorry?
