Does anyone have any info on flights to and from Cancun to Belize City? Not having much luck finding any info on this, looks to be the cheapest way to go from NYC. Any info greatly appreciated.

There are no flights from Cancun, or anywhere else in Mexico, to Belize.

If you decide to fly to Cancun, your best choice would be bus to Chetumal, cross the border to Corozal and take a bus to Belize City.

If your final destination is San Pedro, you can get a flight or water taxi from Corozal.

There are no direct flights from Cancun to Belize City, however this company has started daily flights from Cancun to Chetumal, which is at the border of Belize and Mexico. From there you can get private transport or take the bus to Belize City. It would be easier than the 8 hour bus ride. I think they are about $80US last time I checked.

I tried to find a flight last year and had no luck. We rented a car in Cancun, spent a week in Akumal and then drove to Chetumal, dropped off our rental and used an expediter to get us across the border to Corozal. All in all pretty cool, had plenty of time to see stuff, then we spent a night in Corozal and flew to AC the next day.
