I plan on dropping down to the lovely isle in February to get my vitamin D levels up and do some diving. Anybody got any advice on shipping gear etc ahead to the place we're staying (Belzian shores)?

If you're staying somewhere else in country first and want to send your gear on ahead you can probably make arrangements with Belizean Shores. Otherwise you'll probably pass out when you see the cost of shipping from outside the country. Nevermind the fact that you'll have to deal with customs and all kinds of other issues.

Yeah Reaper...can't wait to see you float down to the ground, all smiles. I always enjoy watching you, especially when you jump outta planes.

Woohoo....you will be there for my birthday (2/20). I think that calls for a drink, don't you?

Personally I would not like to be separated from my dive gear. It is risky enough just having it put in the cargo hold of the same plane I am on.
As someone else mentioned, if you are traveling inland prior to coming to the island you might want to ship it over on Tropic Air and have Belizean Shores pick it up for you. Even that has its risks.

Wasn't planning on sending anything valuable ScubaLdy - mask, fins and snorkle along w/ a few other sundries. Sounds like too much work for value though. Any tips on what's up w/ diving?
