Al and Janet - there's a ton of us standing in line echoing what you say. You will LOVE tacogirl and tacoboy when you meet them - trust me. They make visiting San Pedro that much better!

Al,

All you have to do is just walk down the beach, minding your own business, admiring the sea and notice this young lady bent over talking to a child by the water's edge. You take a second look and say to yourself, "that profile is familiar, wonder if..". Then you say tentatively to her, "Laurie ??". She turns around and you get to say "Hi Tacogirl". I introduce myself and we hug!! So glad that I wasn't wasn't looking somewhere else at that moment!

This was on Thursday (fifth day of our week)... so it is real easy to run into her -- all you need is a pile of luck.

Here's good luck to you!

Julian

Al,
you will know Tacogirl ( Laurie) when you see her!! she is an angel on earth. Julian said it correctly, Just look, she is the most amazing woman who stands out in the background, Oh and she will have a camera with her smile . She is the breathe of fresh Air when she appears. To know/meet her is YOUR great pleasure. A visit to SanPedro with her on your agenda is the paramount of the trip! I can't imagine being on Ambergris Caye without meeting with her, spending time with her, and enjoying every minute of it. Oh yeah and Tacoboy( Paul ) rocks too. sorry paul. didn't mean to leave you out smile smile smile

I have to agree with all of you. Laura makes the island a sweeter place to be, with her unending kindness, and quick smile. I always look forward to seeing her when we are there.

Ha Ha I am just a girl who ran away with her guy to live on a tropical island. I can honestly say I had no idea what that new life was going to entail for us, I just knew it was what we needed to do. Since coming here we have made so many great friends and had so much fun - these past 2 years blew my fun-party meter off the chart.

I am so glad you all enjoy my blog - thanks for the compliments everyone. Al be glad to meet you anytime smile

Shout out to Marty for the message board and officially adding my blog link that was very exciting surprise.

I started my blog to show friends and family a bit more about our life here beyond emails and keep working on my writing. My mom wrote me and commented on how she was a bit worried about us moving to a different country and if we would make friends, she then went on to say after seeing my blog that was no cause for concern anymore. I also started my blog with plans to entice my cousin here and now she is about to book with a friend for march and she will be here for 21 days yay.

Damn I may have spoke to soon now ticket prices are going up and they have not booked yet.
