Can someone please remind me what the beach is like in front of Ruby's. Can you swim there or are there boat launches there? Are there beach chairs to sit on?? I can't remember....lol

Its changed a lot in the last few years and all for the better.
but as a swim area no. to much traffic and congestion of new dock.

how far do u have to walk down the beach before there's a swimming area??

Just next door is Holiday hotel and its fine there or in the other direction is a popular spot about 100yards is Ramons.

are the staff at these resorts pretty sticky about only having guests staying at their hotel use the beach chairs or do you think if we're staying at ruby's there would be a problem?

Beach chairs at Holiday seem to be first come first served.
