We researched for three years on moving our business to Belize:
Our advice is to get as much information as possible before your visit:
Try these for a start: // (go to Economics,) (Belize Investment Guide, etc.) Also on that site go to the links: //, Electronic Resource Library...
Under Belize News go to "Belize First"...
Belize Government, etc. Especially "a good place to E-mail your questions." Helpful Business People that will help.
Lots of sites on the Web that you will find helpful. We have two binders full of information. Plus books, personal videos,e-mails from many sources, and business contacts that have helped tremendously.
Good luck on whatever decision you make!

So Marvel- is moving your business to Belize a definite possibility, or a slight possibility? Just curious. Feel free to not answer if it is a secret.

reply to Bill. Stella is in BFE if you know what that means!Actually, it's SE of Joplin, 15 min. E of Neosho, and about 1 hr. W of Springfield. I am 5 miles outside of the big town of Stella{pop approx. 200} and closer to the great metropolis of Wanda which consists of 7 houses,a church, and a graveyard.I live on a farm of 118 acres and raise horses. But I need to move somewhere quieter, the excitement here is killing me.JT

It appears to me, you will be moving to a much larger town by choosing San Pedro. LOL

Reply to Marvel. Thanks for the advice. I have looked into some of the sites already and found them to be quite useful. What kind of videos did you get? And, if you don't mind my asking, what is your business in Belize and how are you getting along with it?

Reply to Chloe. Hi! Nice to talk to you. Grew up in Okla. City, lived in Tulsa. San Pedro looks about the right size to me, do you agree? Where do you hang your hat?

How great to be able to move your business to someplace as beautiful as San!!

Good luck to you, I'll be curious how it turns out for you..all the best I hope. I don't think I could be that lucky to move there, my husband's company is completely, 100% internet based, I don't think San Pedro is tht technical yet (hey, I could be wrong)so I keep dreaming of moving to Maui.
