Maybe I don't get out enough but I can't recall ever seeing a steel drum band on the island.

The Pantempers, a wonderful steel drum band from Belize City has played here on the island, most recently at Exotic Caye/Canuck's.

Check out Kelly McGuire & his band down at Fido's Sand Bar over the next week, his CD "Boat In Belize" has a lot of steel drum in it.

I always wished we had a steel drum band.

The Pantempers are amazing, I listen to their performances in the city.

There was a band that used to play quite often at Hideaway Hotel a few years back. I've never seen them since Hideaway closed. Anyone know who they were?
