Ok, Bobber, you pick one and I'll be the other.

Well said above Bobber. People can make things happen, wait for things to happen or wonder what happened.
That being said, there ain't a horse in this race that I really want to bet on! I watch their lips move, but none of them step up to the plate when push comes to shove. It is embarassing as the O.J. Simpson trial! What a circus. Oh, and Jesse, puhleeease: I don't think too many folks are overly thrilled with our choices of presidential candidates, nor did we choose them or put them there.
And, thank you President Bush for your tax rebate proposal - which I am not eligible for, but bet I will be paying for one way or the other! LOL

A quick response to KC. I don't buy in to the haves and have nots. Sure, they exist, but only as a broad term. Consider the people in the places we visit (like AC, for instance). Are the haves much happier than the have nots? I like to think of two classes, the "cans" and the "cant's". You can be in either category based on a lot of things. Education, opportunity, physical capabilities and just plain luck. Luck of the draw which category you may be relegated to. It is possible to change your position, if the circumstances are right. I would then add in another category, the "won'ts". These are the folks that are usually lumped into the "can'ts" category. They are the people who can improve their situation, but simply choose not to because it is too much work, or they don't see the possibilities. Easier just to kick back and let the system take care of you. My experience is that these people are a bigger drain on the resources than the people who try and just can't make it. I have no problem assisting the less fortunate, but I draw the line at subsidizing those who are just too....lazy is not quite the right word, but I think you know the types I am referring to. Bobber- You're my hero- it's OH SO TRUE! I see it daily in the free/reduced lunch families at school that drop their kids off in H3's and BMW's and Mercedes and Lexus. The kids are wearing ONLY abercrombie or hollister clothing and would never dream of wearing a hand me down. It's sickening!

Although I see the typewritten word, I hear the caw of a crow.
If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.

Caw is the sound you hear at a Seattle Seahawks football game.

I have to play devils advocate while you're of at a PTA meeting, and all you can come up with when you return is a smiley face?
It's rarely rocket science, it's usually just math: then again if you can't do the math.......

of? like off, only different, as in mis-typed - again!??!
That's not all I could come up with, that's just all I thought was appropriate in response to the comment at which the smiley face was directed. Not everything is about you! :P
I believe I said I would be thinking about further responses. That doesn't seem all that necessary now, as you and KC seem to think you can adequately represent my point of view in my absence; although where you two got the idea that my response to anything is to namecall is beyond me.
P.S. I've been kicked out of the PTA

I'm not touching politics here, other than what I said above.
There are a few candidates, that if they get elected, hey, I might consider moving to. . .Belize, yeah, that's it!
