There is a review on wikimapia of coconuts from someone named Chris posted 14 months ago...

"Stayed here for Christmas. Like many places in San Pedro, it's too expensive. But it was OK. It really doesn't have a "beach" that's swimmable. There's a barge/dock right next to it that's quite ugly, and the staff didn't seem to care too much about how clean the beach was. There were old tires and garbage within view the whole time we were there. The pool is small, but refreshing."

I'm wondering if things have been cleaned up at all since (as i understad it) the barge has been moved.

I can only vouch for the food and at the time that I tried it (early 2007) the shrimp ceviche and another ceviche (I think it was fish) was nonedible. The cooked fish plate was just ok. The drinks were good though!
