In 11 days, the only not-so-good meal we had was a lunch in Caye Caulker. Other than that, Christo's, Banana Beach (El Divino), Rico's, and the street vendors all had great food. Did a lot of our own cooking with the local spices, fish and sausage and that was great, too. And, thanks to Nasser's for the home made yogurt.
Fresh fruit, juices & banana muffins every day and didn't gain a pound. I have the guts of a coyote, but my wife has a tender stomach. She never had a problem there, except in CC with the greasy fries & fish sandwich. Unrefined sugar, low gluten flour and rice are staples at home.
Made chicken adobo the first full night home with some of the ingredients we brought back. Will be running out soon, so I guess I'll have to go back to AC to get some more.
