I just wanted to say that we had a fun time on AC and exploring SAn Pedro and vicinity. We have owned property in Maya Beach for a number of years and have been all 'round mainland Belize but had never been to AC. It was busy! Like, there were a lot of people there compared to what I am used to. I think I posted that El Equinita was a cheap place to eat and we also found Fantasy Restaurant that was comparably priced. I got my hair cut at Aquarius Salon and she (the owner, I forget her name) did a fine job!
One thing that got on my nerves is the timeshare people pestering us, but I know that is their job and I learned as soon as we told them we owned property down south they would leave us alone. On the other hand we met some chicks who had their sailboat moored at AC and they just went on some timeshare tour just to make $100.00! Plus on another one they got a free golfcart for a day.
We wanted to do the Bacalar Chico snorkel trip, but it was SO WINDY all the trips were cancelled the 2 (whole) days we were there. Maybe next time!
