I did not know what was happening the times when the lights dimmed and my stove started screeching. A message "Bad Line" kept flashing.
Now I know to throw the main switch in the panel box and go around and unplugged everything before I flip the switch back on.
It would have been nice to know this before my stuff fried.
BEL determined that the problem was at our roadside power pole (not far from the bridge) so it was not far reaching.
