I'm amazed at how many Canadians answered my last post. So let's hear from all you fellow Canadians out there on AC. Tell us where your from and when you made the move. I'll start, I'm from Georgetown Ontario and haven't made the move yet!

I'm from Northern Michigan originally, which is Canada Lite... and I haven't yet made the move but hope to soon.

Now back to your regularly scheduled drivel...

I do not like snow and being cold - that was my main motivation to move as I could not stand another winter. Luckily after coming here on vacation tacoboy was down with that plan.

Not a Yooper, but also not a flatlander. Grew up near Traverse City/Gaylord area.

Spent many a night in Sault St. Marie though visiting my friends at LSU and dipping over the bridge to Canada. (I'm swarn to secrecy about why...)

I'm not from Canada, but I did live there for a while. T.O. Loved it. Worked in Niagara for 4 years, but that was before dinosaurs roamed.
Just a little side-note: I am a huge Florida State Fan. Last weekend, I attended the super-regional baseball games in Tallahassee. Every 5th inning when FSU is up to bat, the fans hoist the flag, and sing O Canada!!!!!!!!!! It was so cool! Everyone knows the words, and I felt right at home. I stood up and sang really loud!!
Heading up early August.....Can hardly wait!
